While both are vector-based systems, InDesign focuses on creating a large cohesive layout while Illustrator focuses on individual graphics or one-page projects. InDesign is also a vector based program much the same as Illustrator, however InDesigns strengths really lie in its ability to handle multiple pages and create master pages, you can easily create book or magazine layouts with automatic page numbering and consistent templates on each page all linked to an editable master page. Like Illustrator, InDesign is a vector based program; the primary difference is that its power is focused on the master and multiple page capabilities and loses some other capabilities such as photo editing. However, with InDesign you can customize each page while also creating a master view including page numbers, a logo, etc. Illustrator comes with an extensive library of tools and elements that designers can use to create amazing work. With Illustrator, you can create Vector illustrations, logos, banners etc. InDesign too, has some designing tools but they aren’t as crisp and sharp as of Illustrator.
Both programs can be used for some of the same purposes in some areas, but not all. You can transfer files between the two programs as well. This article will outline the main differences between the two programs. Illustrator doesn’t have a way to setup master pages the way that InDesign does. This is a necessary tool when you’re building documents that use templates. Illustrator doesn’t allow you to automate page numbers.
Illustrator and InDesign is merited; Experience from switching web platform is being able to work with something as important as food that makes a difference. Good level of InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop or similar programs is a plus.

Illustrator makes you a logo, poster, flyer or maybe folder. InDesign makes you a leaflet or a book. Indesign and Illustrator are both Adobe products that are popular with artists, graphic designers, and other illustrators. If you’re a beginner in graphic design, you may feel confused about which program is best for you.

The logo in Illustrator has a green that is a lot duller than the same green (in CMYK values) in InDesign. Will they print the same even if they don't appear that way? Indesign and Illustrator are both Adobe products that are popular with artists, graphic designers, and other illustrators.
In both Illustrator and InDesign, I get colors showing up oversaturated and a little overbright. Photoshop however, doesn't seem to be having this issue.
